Did you know there are military re-enactors all over Europe who set up living history camps and mock battles for World War II and other wars to commemorate and educate? School groups attend these living history events to learn more about WWII and the freedoms they enjoy today because of sacrifices made by American troops. I have had the opportunity to attend commemorations at memorials and monuments and living history camps and battles. Often, WWII veterans will stop by to talk to the re-enactors and visitors, expanding the history experience. Read the articles to learn how re-enactment educates and creates a better future.
