Military research is complex. It isn’t as straightforward as genealogy. There are different timelines to build, many new places every month to locate records and several pathways to follow. This is why I keep developing new classes to take you down different research paths. I know how overwhelming it can be when you first start out.
My recommendation is always that you take at least one branch-specific class to learn the deeper strategy then go from there. If you are unsure where to go after that program – grab a copy of my free Research Roadmap if you haven’t already.
