Description: Researching and writing the stories of our military ancestors may provide awareness of family patterns, inherited trauma, our ancestors experiences, secrets, and can take on a journey we never expected. Journey with Jennifer into the past through story. Learn how researching and traveling in her ancestors’ footsteps facilitated her healing and healing for the world. A handout of writing prompts and research tips will be provided.

Description: Writing the stories of our military ancestors can create awareness, community, and healing in our families and lives. In this hands-on workshop, Jennifer will be your storyteller and guide you on a journey into the past. You will learn a few basics of military research, how to start writing, what to write, and you will be given writing prompts to write during the program. Sharing your writing is optional.
