The 75th anniversary of D-Day is almost here. Later this year we honor those who participated in Operation Market Garden and the Battle of the Bulge, also having 75th anniversaries this year. To help you move your research forward and learn more about these important stories, I am offering discounts on my military webinars and some online classes. The discount links below are good from now until 7 June 2019.
As always, if you need assistance obtaining records or better understanding the service member’s story, I am taking new clients. Contact me today to schedule your free phone consult to discuss your project. If you are planning to travel in Europe for Market Garden or Battle of the Bulge, be sure to start research soon because it takes 3-6 months for a full research project, depending on how much information you really want to obtain.

New Exclusive, Limited Registration WWII Master Class
Are you interested in a new class to help you go deeper into your family and military history? I just completed the first session of Your Family’s War Journey: A Transformational Masterclass. In about a week I am releasing registration for the July session. This exclusive, limited registration class in a nutshell uses a book, Reconciliation with War by Janelle Kaye along with discussion prompts, seven live Zoom facilitations, writing prompts, bonus content, and additional resources PLUS each participants gets a private facilitation/coaching session with me.
Participants learned about military research, explored their family stories and secrets, shared some of their writing and research finds, discussed the book and how it tied into their lives, and some found closure and healing for their families.
One class participant had this to say:
Your Family’s War Journey Masterclass with Jennifer Holik was the perfect way for me to understand the context and importance of my lifelong desire to write about my uncle’s World War II service and to get me writing! The tools and technologies were state of the art, and I can say that having successfully taught graduate classes for 20 years in nationally accredited programs. Maybe best of all is Jennifer’s insight, encouragement, and vast store of connections to pursue answers. I would encourage anyone with a WWII story to pursue, to get on board here!
Barbara Smith, Ph.D.
Details coming soon on registration fees, dates of the class, and more. Be sure to register early because I will cut off registration at 10 people. I do this to keep the class small and encourage sharing and openness of thoughts, feelings, and emotions about the topics we discuss.
